Role Purpose

The Accounts Officer manages financial records, supports budgeting and reporting processes, and ensures accurate and timely accounting operations across multiple branches. The role contributes to financial integrity and operational efficiency within the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and budgets.
  • Monitor financial activities across multiple branches to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Excel to manage financial data effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support financial operations and decision-making.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • HND or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
  • Minimum of 2–4 years’ relevant accounting experience; experience in the healthcare sector is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Business Central, Sage, QuickBooks, Zoho, or Xero.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage financial operations across multiple locations.
