Role Overview

ACTT is seeking a motivated and organized Administrative Assistant to support daily administrative operations. The successful candidate will ensure smooth office functions, accurate record-keeping, and efficient support to staff and management within a dynamic start-up learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and office operations.

  • Maintain accurate financial and operational records with high attention to detail.

  • Support staff with documentation, reporting, and coordination of internal processes.

  • Assist with procurement, inventory management, and office supplies.

  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and other digital tools to support administrative functions.

  • Handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.

  • Collaborate with team members to support ACTT’s participatory and innovative culture.

Educational Requirements & Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Social Sciences, or a related field.

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar administrative role.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and other digital tools.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Hands-on, proactive approach and readiness to contribute to building ACTT.

  • Experience working in a school, training, or vocational education environment.

Skills and Competencies

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

  • Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.

  • Adaptable and ready to thrive in a start-up, participatory learning environment.

  • Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time role based at the ACTT office in Adenta, Accra.
