Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draughtsman to support the design and construction process through the preparation of accurate and compliant technical drawings. The successful candidate will translate architectural concepts into detailed working drawings while ensuring adherence to industry standards and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, including layouts, sections, elevations, and working drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit.

• Interpret sketches, conceptual designs, and specifications into accurate technical drawings.

• Revise and update drawings in line with design changes and project requirements.

• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.

• Assist in preparing drawings for statutory approvals and submissions.

• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, mechanical, and electrical consultants.

• Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings and revisions.

• Conduct site visits where necessary to take measurements and verify project details.

• Support project teams in resolving technical drawing issues during construction.

• Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of all project-related information.

Qualification & Experience

• Hold a Degree in Architectural Draughtsmanship or a related field.

• Possess a minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of relevant experience in architectural drafting.

• Demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD, with working knowledge of Revit, ArchiCAD, or similar software considered an advantage.

• Show a good understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing.

• Demonstrate knowledge of local building regulations and standards.
