Position Summary
The Area Operations Manager will provide operational leadership across assigned locations, ensuring that security operations are delivered efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards and client requirements. The successful candidate will lead operational teams, strengthen client relationships, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Lead and coordinate day-to-day operations across assigned sites to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Monitor operational performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure all operational activities comply with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify operational risks and implement effective mitigation measures.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular client meetings and operational reviews to assess service performance and address concerns.
- Respond promptly to operational issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and strengthen long-term client partnerships.
Team Leadership
- Lead, supervise, and motivate operational teams to achieve performance objectives.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and ongoing professional development for team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and operational excellence.
Planning & Coordination
- Plan, coordinate, and allocate operational resources to meet business and client requirements.
- Monitor staffing levels and ensure effective deployment of personnel.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless operational support.
- Prepare operational reports and provide recommendations to senior management.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, security, and quality standards.
- Monitor compliance with operational procedures and applicable legislation.
- Investigate operational incidents and implement preventive measures where necessary.
- Support internal audits and continuous compliance improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Previous experience managing operations, service delivery, or field teams will be an added advantage.
- Experience within the security services, facilities management, logistics, or related industry is desirable.
