On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Asset Management Executive to join a growing operations team in Oyibi. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional who is passionate about asset control, operational efficiency, and effective resource management.

Role Overview

As an Asset Management Executive, you will be responsible for tracking, controlling, and optimizing the organization’s assets throughout their lifecycle. You will ensure that all company assets are properly recorded, utilized efficiently, maintained appropriately, and safeguarded in line with company policies.

The successful candidate will play a key role in improving asset visibility, reducing losses, and supporting informed decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all company assets.
  • Track asset allocation, utilization, movement, and disposal across departments.
  • Conduct regular physical asset verification and reconciliation with records.
  • Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and documentation of all organizational assets.
  • Monitor asset performance and recommend maintenance or replacement where necessary.
  • Develop and implement asset management policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Coordinate asset audits and support internal and external audit processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare periodic asset management reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to manage asset lifecycle processes.
  • Investigate discrepancies, losses, or damages and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support planning for new asset acquisition and replacement strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

You should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in:
    • Business Administration
    • Accounting
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Logistics
    • Operations Management
    • Or a related field

Experience

You should have:

  • A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in asset management, inventory control, logistics, procurement, or operations management.
  • Experience handling asset tracking systems, audits, and reporting processes.
  • Experience in a structured corporate or multi-departmental environment will be an advantage.

Additional Requirement

  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret operational documents, reports, and asset records.

Skills & Competencies

Technical Competencies

  • Asset lifecycle management.
  • Inventory and asset tracking systems.
  • Audit and compliance processes.
  • Data analysis and reporting.
  • Risk identification and control implementation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Experience with asset management or ERP systems is an advantage.
