Position Summary

We invite applications from highly qualified and experienced academics for appointment to the rank of Associate Professor within the Business School. Successful candidates will provide advanced academic leadership in teaching, research, mentorship, and institutional development in line with the standards of a leading public university.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
• Supervise postgraduate and doctoral research work
• Conduct high-quality research and publish in recognized peer-reviewed journals
• Contribute to curriculum development and academic program improvement
• Provide academic leadership within departments and the Business School
• Mentor junior faculty and support academic staff development
• Participate in community engagement and professional service activities
• Strengthen industry collaboration and academic partnerships

Requirements

Applicants must:

• Possess a Ph.D. in a relevant field of specialization
• Have been appointed as an Associate Professor in a recognized university with comparable standards to Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU)
• Demonstrate a minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Senior Lecturer
• Provide evidence of at least ten (10) peer-reviewed publications in recognized journals
• OR be a Senior Lecturer who will be appointed and undergo the University’s promotion process upon appointment
• Provide names and addresses of three (3) referees
