Job Summary

A major client seeks a skilled and experienced Auto Electrician to support its operations by ensuring the optimal performance and safety of vehicle electrical systems. The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems across a wide range of vehicles and heavy-duty equipment.

The Auto Electrician will play a key role in troubleshooting faults, maintaining system integrity, and supporting operational efficiency through effective and timely repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in vehicles and heavy-duty equipment
• Install, maintain, and repair wiring systems, batteries, and lighting systems
• Service ignition systems, electronic control units (ECUs), and other electrical components
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve technical issues
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems
• Interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and schematics accurately
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities

Requirements

• Diploma or certification in Auto Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience as an Auto Electrician
• Experience working with both light-duty and heavy-duty vehicles is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle electrical and electronic systems
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Good communication and teamwork skills
