Role Overview

Keda Ghana Ceramics Company Limited seeks an Auto Tyre Mechanic to inspect, maintain, repair, and replace tyres for heavy-duty vehicles. You will ensure optimal tyre performance, uphold safety standards, and support the smooth operation of fleet activities within the company.


Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, repair, and replace tyres on heavy-duty and industrial vehicles.
  • Perform tyre balancing, alignment, and pressure checks to ensure safe vehicle operation.
  • Maintain accurate tyre inventory records and track usage and replacements.
  • Identify tyre-related faults and apply effective troubleshooting solutions.
  • Ensure all tyre maintenance activities comply with safety and operational standards.
  • Support routine maintenance schedules for company fleet vehicles.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized tyre service area.
  • Report tyre condition issues and recommend replacements when necessary.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant technical certificate or completed apprenticeship in auto mechanics or a related field.
  • Prior experience as a tyre mechanic, preferably with heavy-duty vehicles.
  • Strong knowledge of tyre systems, maintenance procedures, and repair techniques.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
