Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Civil / Site Engineer to oversee and coordinate construction site activities. You will ensure that all engineering works are executed according to specifications, timelines, and quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify structural arrangements for foundations, columns, and slabs
• Take accurate measurements and monitor subcontractor and site activities
• Conduct testing and calibration of construction instruments
• Ensure all civil engineering works comply with approved drawings and specifications
• Collaborate effectively with site teams and liaise with departmental managers
• Identify and implement improvements and innovative solutions where necessary
• Support the Project Manager in executing construction activities and meeting project goals
• Perform surveying and setting-out duties, and verify drawings and quantities
• Prepare material schedules and coordinate with procurement for timely supply
• Plan and organize site operations to meet project deadlines
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
• Supervise site labor and monitor subcontractor performance
• Resolve technical challenges and unforeseen issues during construction

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related discipline
• Strong background in surveying, civil works, and construction supervision
• Experience in preparing technical specifications and reports
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design tools is preferred
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Solid knowledge of Health & Safety standards on construction sites
