Job Description and Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, mix, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
Deliver excellent guest service by engaging customers, making recommendations, and creating a welcoming bar experience.
Ensure strict compliance with The Ceiba Restaurant’s service standards, NO MSG policy (where applicable), and hygiene regulations.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper setup of the bar area, equipment, and storage at all times.
Monitor beverage stock levels, manage bar inventory, and report shortages or discrepancies promptly.
Handle cash, POS systems, and payment transactions accurately and responsibly.
Prepare bar mise en place, garnishes, and specialty drinks for daily service, banquets, and events.
Support special events, conferences, and large functions with efficient and professional beverage service.
Comply with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations, including responsible service practices.
Collaborate with wait staff, supervisors, and management to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
Professional training or certification in Bartending, Hospitality, or Food & Beverage Service is an advantage.
Minimum 2–4 years of bartending experience, preferably in restaurants, hotels, lounges, or high-volume establishments.
Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and beverage presentation techniques.
Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.
Good understanding of hygiene, safety, and responsible alcohol service.
Strong attention to detail, honesty, and reliability in cash handling and stock management.
Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Professional appearance, positive attitude, and passion for hospitality service.
