Job Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.

• Deliver excellent guest service by engaging customers, making recommendations, and creating a welcoming bar experience.

• Ensure strict compliance with The Ceiba Restaurant’s service standards, NO MSG policy (where applicable), and hygiene regulations.

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper setup of the bar area, equipment, and storage at all times.

• Monitor beverage stock levels, manage bar inventory, and report shortages or discrepancies promptly.

• Handle cash, POS systems, and payment transactions accurately and responsibly.

• Prepare bar mise en place, garnishes, and specialty drinks for daily service, banquets, and events.

• Support special events, conferences, and large functions with efficient and professional beverage service.

• Comply with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations, including responsible service practices.

• Collaborate with wait staff, supervisors, and management to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements

• Professional training or certification in Bartending, Hospitality, or Food & Beverage Service is an advantage.

• Minimum 2–4 years of bartending experience, preferably in restaurants, hotels, lounges, or high-volume establishments.

• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and beverage presentation techniques.

• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.

• Good understanding of hygiene, safety, and responsible alcohol service.

• Strong attention to detail, honesty, and reliability in cash handling and stock management.

• Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and passion for hospitality service.
