Position Summary

The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a well-organized bar area, and delivering exceptional service to guests. The successful candidate will create high-quality drinks, interact professionally with customers, manage bar inventory, and ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

As a Bartender, you will:

• Welcome guests warmly and provide professional, friendly, and attentive service.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to restaurant standards.
• Mix cocktails, mocktails, and specialty drinks while maintaining consistency and quality.
• Provide recommendations to guests and assist them in selecting beverages based on their preferences.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area at all times.
• Check inventory levels and request replenishment of beverages, ingredients, and bar supplies when required.
• Receive, store, and handle beverages and bar materials responsibly.
• Ensure accurate preparation of customer orders and communicate effectively with the service team.
• Process customer bills and payments accurately while following approved procedures.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond professionally to customer requests or concerns.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, health, and workplace safety standards.
• Maintain proper handling and storage of beverages and bar equipment.
• Support restaurant operations during busy service periods and special events.
• Participate in training and contribute ideas to improve beverage offerings and customer experiences.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A minimum of Senior High School (SHS) certificate or equivalent qualification.
• A certificate or diploma in Hospitality, Food and Beverage Service, Bartending, or a related field will be an added advantage.
• Previous experience as a Bartender, Bar Attendant, or Beverage Service Assistant in a restaurant, hotel, lounge, or hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, cocktail mixing, and bar operations.
• Experience handling cash, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and customer transactions will be an advantage.
