Business Development Manager – Homes (Full-Time)

Location: Accra, Ghana

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager – Homes to lead our Homes Unit, drive revenue growth, and expand our market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and manage the Homes Unit sales team to achieve revenue targets and exceed performance objectives.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales, business development, and market expansion strategies aligned with Petra’s strategic goals.
  • Build, manage, and optimize a high-quality sales pipeline from lead generation through negotiation and successful deal closure.
  • Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance reports, including pipeline health, conversion rates, revenue forecasts, and business insights.
  • Recruit, mentor, develop, and performance-manage sales executives to build a high-performing and customer-focused sales team.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to deliver effective go-to-market strategies and enhance customer experience.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with property developers, strategic partners, financial institutions, and service providers.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and refine commercial strategies.
  • Develop and continuously improve sales processes, CRM utilization, reporting dashboards, and key performance indicators.
  • Lead customer presentations, strategic negotiations, and key account engagements to secure new business opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and operational standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ proven experience in real estate sales, property development, mortgages, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and execute large-scale sales and business development strategies.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving revenue growth and market expansion.
