Job Summary

The Business Manager leads and oversees the overall operations of the service station, ensuring profitability, operational efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. The role requires a results-driven professional who can manage people, processes, and performance while delivering excellent customer service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive overall business performance and achieve sales and profitability targets
  • Oversee daily operations of the fuel station and convenience retail units
  • Manage inventory, financial reporting, and cost control measures
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Lead, train, and supervise staff to maintain high performance and accountability
  • Monitor customer service standards and implement improvements where necessary
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders
  • Analyze business performance and implement strategies for growth and efficiency
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational standards

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Must have completed National Service
  • Experience in a fuel or general retail service centre is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, financial reporting, and operational compliance
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental standards within the fuel service industry
