BUSINESS MANAGER (FULL-TIME)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and well-connected Business Manager to lead strategic business operations, regulatory engagement, and stakeholder relations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in coordinating government interfaces, managing institutional relationships, and supporting the company’s industrial expansion and operational efficiency in Ghana.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate business operations in alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key government and regulatory bodies.
  • Navigate administrative processes related to land acquisition, permits, and industrial compliance.
  • Oversee stakeholder engagement, including community relations and institutional partnerships.
  • Support project execution within industrial and manufacturing environments.
  • Ensure compliance with Ghanaian laws, including land administration and industrial regulations.
  • Facilitate efficient communication between the company and relevant public sector institutions.
  • Provide strategic input on operational planning, expansion, and regulatory positioning.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in large-scale industrial, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects in Ghana.
  • Strong working knowledge of Ghanaian government administrative systems and the Land Act.
  • Demonstrated existing communication or working relationships within institutions such as:
    • Ghana Revenue Authority (Customs Division)
    • Lands Commission
    • ECG / GRIDCo or relevant energy sector agencies
  • Proven experience with Free Zone application processes and management.
  • Familiarity with glass manufacturing or heavy industrial operations is an advantage.
  • High proficiency in professional English communication (written and spoken).
  • Ability to speak or understand Twi or other local dialects is a strong advantage.
