Position Summary

Frankies Food is seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team in Accra. The successful candidate will manage customer transactions, provide excellent service, maintain accurate financial records, and contribute to a smooth and positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and provide professional service.
• Process customer orders and handle cash, card, and electronic payments accurately.
• Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently.
• Verify cash balances and maintain proper cash-handling procedures.
• Respond to customer enquiries and resolve payment-related concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming cashier area.
• Support other team members to ensure efficient food service operations.
• Follow company policies, hygiene standards, and customer service procedures.
• Report discrepancies, payment issues, or operational concerns to the Supervisor.
• Assist with daily closing procedures and cash reconciliation.
• Perform other duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Senior High School (SHS) certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience as a cashier, sales assistant, or customer service representative is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling and POS systems.
• Strong numerical and record-keeping skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced food service environment.
• Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills are an added advantage.
