As part of our commitment to quality childcare, we are seeking a compassionate and responsible Child Caregiver to join our team.

Position Summary

The Child Caregiver will support the daily care, supervision, and developmental activities of children in a safe and engaging environment. The successful candidate will actively contribute to creating a warm, joyful, and structured space where children feel valued, supported, and encouraged to learn through play.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and compassionate care to children throughout daily activities.
• Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Support children’s physical, emotional, and social development through structured play and learning activities.
• Engage children in creative activities such as singing, dancing, storytelling, and games.
• Assist with feeding, hygiene, toileting, and rest routines as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized childcare environment.
• Observe and report any behavioral, developmental, or health concerns to supervisors.
• Foster positive behavior, emotional regulation, and social interaction among children.
• Collaborate with other caregivers and staff to deliver consistent care and support.
• Follow all health, safety, and childcare policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of WASSCE or Diploma in any field (Early Childhood Education is an advantage).
• At least one (1) year of experience in early childhood care, daycare, or related childcare services.
• Must be compassionate, respectful, and God-fearing.
• Willing and able to perform physically active tasks such as standing, kneeling, bending, and sitting on the floor.
• Willing to undergo first aid certification training.
• Must be able to pass background checks.
• Comfortable engaging children through singing, dancing, and playful learning activities.
• Strong patience, active listening skills, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
