Position Summary

BG Furnishings is seeking a skilled and professional Chinese Translator to facilitate effective communication between Chinese-speaking staff and local employees within the organization. The successful candidate will support daily operations by providing accurate interpretation and translation services while promoting smooth collaboration across teams and departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate conversations, meetings, and instructions between Chinese-speaking staff and local employees accurately and professionally.
  • Interpret both verbal and written communication in Mandarin Chinese and English.
  • Translate operational documents, reports, manuals, emails, and other business-related materials.
  • Support management during meetings, training sessions, and factory operations.
  • Ensure confidentiality, professionalism, and accuracy in all communication and translation activities.
  • Bridge communication gaps to improve teamwork, productivity, and operational efficiency.
  • Facilitate effective cross-cultural communication within the workplace.
  • Support administrative and operational activities requiring translation and interpretation services.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Chinese Translator or Interpreter.
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
