Position Overview

VisionFund Ghana Micro Credit Limited seeks a proactive and customer-focused Client Service Officer (Loan Officer) to support its lending operations in Cape Coast and Tarkwa. The successful candidate will drive client acquisition, manage loan portfolios, and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high-quality service delivery and portfolio performance. This role requires field engagement, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to supporting community development.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit eligible clients in target communities
• Assess loan applications and conduct client credit evaluations
• Disburse loans and monitor repayment performance
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor client businesses and provide advisory support
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and lending procedures
• Maintain accurate client records and prepare reports as required
• Promote financial literacy and responsible borrowing among clients

Qualifications and Requirements

• HND in Marketing or a degree in any discipline, preferably Marketing or Accountancy
• Candidates with certificates in Agriculture or Rural Development and relevant field experience are encouraged to apply
• Completion of National Service is required
• Ability to ride a motorbike (valid license preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Good communication and basic analytical abilities
• Willingness to work extensively in the field
