Job Title: Coding & Robotics Facilitator
Location: Koforidua & Suhum, Eastern Region, Ghana
Start Date: February 2026 (Immediate start if possible)
Contract: Permanent with a 3-month probation period                                                 Company: Confidential
NB: Candidates must be based in or around Koforidua and Suhum, or willing to relocate.

We are launching an exciting Coding and Robotics program in private basic schools across the Eastern Region and are looking for enthusiastic, tech-savvy facilitators to join our founding team. This is a unique opportunity to help Ghanaian children develop 21st-century skills, inspire creativity, and foster problem-solving abilities.

Job Summary
As a Coding & Robotics Facilitator, you will teach coding and robotics to students from Primary 1 to JHS 3, deliver after-school and weekend enrichment sessions, manage classroom activities, and contribute to the development of curriculum and teaching resources. You will inspire young minds to become creators, not just consumers, of technology.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Delivery (70%)
Plan and deliver age-appropriate coding and robotics lessons
Conduct engaging after-school sessions (Monday–Friday, 12:30pm–5:30pm) and weekend enrichment classes (Saturday, 9:00am–3:00pm)
Use block-based coding platforms (Scratch, Code.org) and physical robotics kits
Adapt lessons to students’ needs and different learning styles
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Manage classroom dynamics and maintain high student engagement
Organize student showcases and project demonstrations
Administrative (20%)
Maintain accurate attendance and progress records
Prepare and submit weekly reports to program management
Communicate with parents regarding student progress
Coordinate with school administration and staff
Manage and maintain coding and robotics equipment
Professional Development (10%)
Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and curriculum development
Stay updated on coding education trends and best practices
Collaborate with other facilitators to share insights and improve teaching
Weekly Commitment: Approximately 25–30 hours including teaching, preparation, and administrative tasks.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
Diploma, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Education (ICT), or related field
Must reside in or be willing to relocate to partner schools in Koforidua/Suhum
Technical Skills
Basic understanding of programming concepts (any language)
Comfortable using computers and learning new software
Familiarity with Scratch, Python, or block-based coding (or willingness to learn quickly)
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Teaching Skills
Experience working with children or young people (formal or informal)
Excellent communication skills in English (Twi is an advantage)
Classroom management ability
Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm
Ability to explain technical concepts simply

Previous teaching or tutoring experience
