Job Summary

The Embassy of Denmark seeks a proactive and strategically-minded Commercial Adviser to support Danish trade and investment initiatives in Ghana. The successful candidate will actively engage with both the private sector and government stakeholders, provide commercial guidance, and strengthen networks that promote bilateral business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise Danish companies on market entry, investment opportunities, and business development in Ghana

  • Actively build and maintain a strong network within the Ghanaian business community

  • Liaise with government agencies, business associations, and key stakeholders

  • Monitor market trends, sector developments, and provide strategic insights to Danish partners

  • Support cross-cultural and international business collaboration initiatives

  • Represent the Embassy in relevant commercial events and meetings

  • Promote bilateral trade and investment opportunities between Denmark and Ghana

Educational & Experience Requirements

  • Degree in Business Development, International Marketing, Economics, MBA, or a related field

  • Commercial mind-set with the ability to engage both private and government stakeholders

  • Fluency in English (speaking and writing)

  • Strong professional network within the Ghanaian business community

  • International exposure with proven cross-cultural work experience

  • Desired: Sector-specific knowledge, experience working in Côte d’Ivoire, and French language competence
