Role Overview

The Compensation and Benefits Lead will design, implement, and manage competitive reward strategies that attract, motivate, and retain top talent. The role focuses on aligning compensation structures with business objectives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing employee engagement through data-driven insights and best practices.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a fair, equitable, and competitive total compensation and benefits framework aligned with organizational strategy and business goals.
  • Develop and maintain a consistent compensation philosophy that supports company culture and performance objectives.
  • Ensure all compensation and benefits practices comply with relevant legislation, including pay equity and labor regulations.
  • Analyze compensation data and apply quantitative and qualitative methods to inform decision-making on financial and non-financial rewards.
  • Conduct employee surveys and assessments to understand motivation, engagement, and reward preferences.
  • Lead job analysis processes, including the development of job descriptions, evaluations, and classifications.
  • Support the Chief HR Officer in developing and executing a competitive compensation and benefits strategy that positions the company as an employer of choice.
  • Monitor market trends and benchmark compensation structures to ensure competitiveness.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a Compensation and Benefits or related HR role.
  • Prior experience in HR operations with a solid understanding of HR best practices.
  • Good knowledge of the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment processes.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Experience in both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
