Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Project Officer / Quantity Surveying Officer to support the planning, execution and cost management of construction projects.
The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, consultants and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in planning, coordinating and supervising construction projects
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, bills of quantities and progress valuations
• Monitor project costs, variations and cash flow
• Support procurement of materials, subcontractors and services
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and safety standards
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reports
• Assist in contract administration and claims management
• Liaise with consultants, suppliers, contractors and clients
• Support project scheduling and progress tracking
Qualification Required & Experience
- Minimum of BSc in Construction Technology & Management
OR
- BSc in Quantity Surveying & Construction Economics
- National Service completed
- 0–3 years relevant work experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials and site operations
- Basic understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes
- Ability to prepare cost estimates and project documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project); knowledge of AutoCAD/BIM is an advantage
- Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work on construction sites when required
