We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious, and professional Corporate Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will provide safe and efficient transportation services while ensuring company vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.

Position Summary

The Corporate Driver will be responsible for transporting staff, executives, clients, and company materials safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will maintain assigned vehicles in excellent condition, comply with all road safety regulations, and represent the organization with professionalism and courtesy.

Key Responsibilities

Transportation Services

  • Safely transport staff, executives, clients, and visitors to designated destinations.
  • Deliver documents, parcels, and other company materials promptly and securely.
  • Plan efficient travel routes to ensure timely arrivals while considering traffic and road conditions.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with passengers.

Vehicle Maintenance

  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after each trip.
  • Ensure assigned vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and well-maintained at all times.
  • Monitor fuel levels, engine oil, tyre pressure, and other essential vehicle systems.
  • Report mechanical faults promptly and coordinate scheduled servicing and repairs.
  • Maintain accurate vehicle maintenance and service records.

Safety and Compliance

  • Adhere to all road traffic laws, company policies, and safe driving practices.
  • Ensure valid vehicle registration, insurance, and other statutory documents are always up to date.
  • Practice defensive driving techniques to ensure passenger and public safety.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies or vehicle breakdowns by following established procedures.

Administrative Support

  • Maintain accurate travel logs, mileage records, fuel consumption records, and trip reports.
  • Assist with basic administrative and logistical tasks when required.
  • Support the smooth coordination of transportation schedules and travel arrangements.

Security and Confidentiality

  • Ensure the security of passengers, company property, and transported materials.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Safeguard company vehicles against misuse, theft, or damage.
  • Perform other transportation and administrative duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

Applicants must possess:

  • A minimum of a Senior High School (SHS) Certificate, Technical/Vocational qualification, or equivalent.
  • Additional training in defensive driving or road safety will be an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years of professional driving experience in a corporate, government, diplomatic, or reputable private sector organization.
  • A valid Ghanaian Driver’s Licence with the appropriate licence class.
  • A clean driving record with a demonstrated commitment to road safety.
  • Good knowledge of road networks within Accra and surrounding areas.

  • Strong knowledge of routes within Accra and surrounding regions.

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to unexpected situations.
  • High level of integrity, honesty, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal working hours, including weekends or public holidays, when required.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability.
