Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant to join our team in Tema. In this role, you will manage cost structures, analyze financial performance, and provide insights that support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze cost reports to support business operations
• Monitor and control production and operational costs
• Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights
• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure accurate inventory costing and valuation
• Collaborate with operational teams to improve cost efficiency
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• Professional certification (ICAG, ACCA, or CIMA) is mandatory
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in cost accounting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and organizational skills
