​Position Summary
​We are looking for a dynamic and empathetic Dispensary Technician to join our clinical team. ​Your Core Responsibilities
​In this role, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our dispensary. Working in the active voice of care, you will:
- ​Dispense Medications: Prepare, package, and label prescribed medications with absolute accuracy and speed.
- ​Counsel Patients: Explain dosage instructions, potential side effects, and storage requirements to patients in a clear, friendly, and accessible manner.
- ​Manage Inventory: Monitor stock levels, track expiration dates, place orders, and organize pharmaceutical supplies systematically to prevent shortages.
- ​Collaborate with Clinicians: Consult directly with doctors and nurses to clarify prescription details and ensure patient safety.
- ​Maintain Records: Record all dispensed medications, patient profiles, and transactions using our modern, digital pharmacy management system.
- ​Ensure Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and ethical practice in alignment with national pharmacy regulations.
- ​Welcome and Assist: Serve as a friendly point of contact, resolving patient inquiries with patience and professionalism.
​What We Are Looking For
​To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- ​Education: An HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy Technology from a recognized institution.
- ​Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of relevant hands-on experience in a clinical or busy community pharmacy setting.
- ​Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital pharmacy software and Microsoft Office suite.
- ​Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding verbal communication skills with a natural ability to connect with and comfort patients.
- ​Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive, collaborative attitude.
