Position Summary

Rabotech Ghana is seeking two experienced and safety-conscious Drilling Supervisors to oversee and coordinate drilling operations. The successful candidates will ensure operational efficiency, maintain strict safety standards, and supervise drilling teams in the field. You will play a key role in ensuring that drilling activities are executed safely, on schedule, and in line with technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily drilling operations and ensure compliance with approved drilling programs
• Lead and coordinate drilling crews to achieve operational targets
• Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards
• Monitor drilling parameters and adjust operations to optimize performance
• Inspect drilling equipment and ensure proper maintenance practices are followed
• Prepare and submit accurate operational reports and field documentation
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to resolve technical challenges
• Train and mentor drilling personnel to improve performance and safety awareness

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Petroleum Engineering, Mining Engineering, Geology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Additional certifications in drilling operations or safety management will be an advantage

Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in drilling operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of drilling techniques, equipment, and field operations
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence
