Job Overview

We are seeking a responsible and reliable Driver to support the safe and efficient transportation needs of the University. The ideal candidate will ensure timely, secure, and professional transport services for staff, students, and official university activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely drive university vehicles for official purposes, including staff, student transport, and institutional events.

• Ensure vehicles are maintained, fueled, and in good working condition.

• Adhere strictly to road safety regulations and traffic laws.

• Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely arrivals and departures.

• Maintain accurate records of trips, vehicle maintenance, and fuel usage.

• Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed.

• Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and discretion at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum qualification: SSSCE, WASSCE, or equivalent.

• Valid Ghana Driver’s License (Class B, C, or higher).

• At least 2 years of relevant driving experience, preferably in a tertiary institution.

• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving practices.

• Responsible, reliable, and punctual with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends if required.
