Key Responsibilities

As an Education Lecturer, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality lectures and facilitate engaging learning experiences for teacher trainees.
  • Develop and review course content in line with the College curriculum and national standards.
  • Assess student performance through examinations, assignments, and continuous assessment.
  • Supervise student research projects, teaching practice, and academic activities.
  • Conduct scholarly research and contribute to academic publications and conferences.
  • Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.
  • Participate in curriculum development and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Contribute to departmental, College, and professional committees and activities.
  • Support the College’s mission through community engagement and academic outreach.
  • Maintain accurate academic records and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.

Qualifications and Requirements

The successful candidate should possess:

  • A PhD in Measurement and Evaluation, Special Needs Education, or a closely related discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach effectively at the tertiary level.
  • Strong research, analytical, and academic writing skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • A commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and student success.
