Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons that promote academic excellence and foster a love for learning.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to succeed.
• Implement the school’s curriculum while using effective instructional strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Assess student progress regularly and use assessment data to inform instruction and support continuous improvement.
• Differentiate teaching approaches to accommodate varying learning styles and abilities.
• Foster students’ social, emotional, and character development alongside academic achievement.
• Maintain positive and effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and well-being.
• Collaborate with colleagues, school leaders, and support staff to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
• Participate actively in school events, professional development programs, and extracurricular activities.
• Uphold the school’s mission, Christian values, and commitment to excellence in all aspects of teaching and professional conduct.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area.
• Valid teaching certification or professional teaching licence.
• Experience teaching within an American, International, or International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum is preferred.
• Previous experience teaching at the elementary or primary school level is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of child development and effective instructional practices.
