Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and articulate English Teacher to join our Languages and Literature faculty. In this role, you will create an engaging, supportive, and communicative classroom environment that builds students’ confidence in reading, writing, and analytical thinking. The ideal candidate will inspire a deep appreciation for language and literature while sharpening students’ written and oral communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver High-Quality Instruction: Teach English Language and Literature across secondary grade levels using the Cambridge International Curriculum framework.
- Cultivate a Welcoming Classroom: Foster an inclusive, positive, and supportive learning environment that encourages creative expression, open dialogue, and confidence in public speaking.
- Develop Literacy and Analytical Skills: Guide students in exploring diverse literary texts, developing advanced comprehension skills, and mastering rigorous essay-writing techniques.
- Assess and Track Progress: Design comprehensive assessments, provide timely, constructive feedback, and monitor student achievement to drive language proficiency and academic growth.
- Integrate Modern Methodologies: Utilize interactive and innovative teaching strategies to make literary analysis and grammar mechanics engaging and relevant to modern learners.
- Collaborate and Contribute: Work alongside colleagues in the English department to develop innovative resources, support cross-curricular literacy initiatives, and lead extracurricular activities like debate or creative writing clubs.
