Role Overview

As an Estimator, you will prepare accurate cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions for glass projects. You will analyze project requirements, evaluate costs, collaborate with internal teams and suppliers, and ensure pricing aligns with company objectives while supporting profitable project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, quotations, and tender documents for glass projects.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and client requirements to determine project scope and pricing.
• Conduct material take-offs and labor cost analyses.
• Source and evaluate pricing from suppliers and vendors for materials, glass products, and accessories.
• Collaborate with the sales and production teams to ensure project feasibility and cost efficiency.
• Assess project risks, variations, and their financial implications.
• Ensure quotations align with company pricing strategies, budget requirements, and profit margins.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, quotations, and project costing documentation.
• Support project handover by providing clear information on project scope, pricing, and budget.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes and cost control practices.

Qualifications

• Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Estimator within the glass processing, construction, or fabrication industry.
• Strong understanding of glass products, specifications, fabrication processes, and installation methods.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with estimating software is an advantage.
