Role Overview

The Fabricator is responsible for constructing, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components in line with technical specifications. The role requires strong hands-on skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate metal components accurately.
• Cut, shape, and assemble metal materials using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Perform welding, grinding, and finishing tasks to meet required standards.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain and operate fabrication tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Identify and resolve fabrication issues or defects promptly.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

Qualifications & Experience

• SHS, Diploma, or HND in a relevant technical or engineering field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in fabrication or a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of fabrication techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is an advantage.
