Role Overview

The Fabricator (Detailing) is responsible for producing precise metal components and detailed fabrication work based on technical drawings and specifications. The role requires a high level of accuracy, strong technical skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure all outputs meet quality and design standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
• Fabricate, assemble, and finish metal components to precise measurements and tolerances.
• Perform cutting, shaping, welding, grinding, and finishing tasks with a high level of precision.
• Ensure all fabricated components meet required design and quality standards.
• Carry out detailed finishing work, including alignment, fitting, and adjustments.
• Inspect completed work to identify and correct any defects or inconsistencies.
• Maintain and operate fabrication tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed where required.
• Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to ensure project specifications are met.

Qualifications & Experience

• SHS, Diploma, or HND in a relevant technical or engineering field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in fabrication, with a strong focus on detailed work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication designs.
• Basic knowledge of welding and metal finishing techniques.
