Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and management of facilities in Accra. The successful candidate will ensure that all building systems, equipment, and workplace environments operate efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage vendors, contractors, and facility operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of all facility systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships to ensure quality service delivery and compliance with contractual agreements.
- Implement workplace safety standards, compliance procedures, and environmental sustainability practices.
- Prepare and manage facility budgets, maintenance schedules, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize operational disruptions.
- Develop and implement facility management policies, procedures, and operational improvements.
- Respond promptly to facility-related issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and vendor performance.
- Lead and support facility staff while promoting a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Strong experience in facility management and maintenance, including overseeing building systems and equipment.
- Proven vendor and contractor management experience with strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Sound knowledge of workplace safety regulations, compliance standards, and environmental sustainability practices.
- Proficiency in budget management, maintenance scheduling, and cost optimization strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and perform efficiently in a dynamic work environment.
- Relevant certifications in Facility Management will be an added advantage.
- Degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
