Role Overview

The Finance & Commercial Manager plays a strategic and hands-on role in driving financial performance and commercial decision-making. You will combine financial expertise with operational insight to guide pricing, profitability, investment decisions, and overall business strategy. Key Responsibilities

Commercial Performance & Profitability

You will:

• Analyze route and operational profitability, identifying where the business creates or loses value
• Provide actionable insights to improve margins and overall financial performance
• Support pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability

Financial Modelling & Strategic Decisions

You will:

• Lead financial modelling for key decisions, including fleet expansion, asset financing, and make-versus-buy analysis
• Support long-term planning and investment strategies with data-driven recommendations

Budgeting & Reporting

You will:

• Develop and manage budgets aligned with strategic objectives
• Deliver clear, insightful management reports that support executive decision-making
• Translate complex financial data into practical insights for leadership

Revenue Assurance & Billing Oversight

You will:

• Oversee client billing processes to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Safeguard margins by eliminating revenue leakage and ensuring correct rate application

Governance, Controls & Risk Management

You will:

• Strengthen internal controls and financial systems to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Lead internal audit processes and continuously improve financial governance frameworks

Team Leadership

You will:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team
• Build a collaborative, accountable, and performance-driven team culture

Qualifications & Experience

• Fully qualified accountant (ICAG, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA Ghana)
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, with strong exposure to commercial finance or FP&A
• Experience in logistics, transport, or asset-heavy industries is highly desirable
• Proven expertise in financial modelling and business analysis
• Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and confidently present financial insights
