We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Food Production Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing daily production operations, ensuring efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and leading production teams to achieve operational targets.

Position Summary

As a Food Production Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day food manufacturing activities, ensuring that production processes operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality and food safety standards. You will coordinate production schedules, manage workforce performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily food production activities to ensure operational efficiency and product quality.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to production schedules and output targets.
• Lead, motivate, and develop production teams to achieve performance objectives.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, health, and safety standards throughout the production process.
• Monitor product quality and work closely with Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams to address any issues.
• Optimize production workflows to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance operational performance.
• Coordinate the availability of raw materials, equipment, and personnel to support uninterrupted production.
• Identify and resolve production challenges in a timely and effective manner.
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and performance data.
• Ensure employees follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
• Support training and onboarding of production staff.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

Educational Requirements

• HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field.

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum of 2–5 years of supervisory experience within a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of food production processes and manufacturing operations.
• Experience managing production teams and coordinating shift activities.
• Knowledge of food safety and quality management practices.
• Ability to monitor production performance and implement process improvements.
• Strong organizational and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in production reporting and operational documentation.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing best practices and continuous improvement principles.
