Position Summary

The Front of House Staff will be responsible for welcoming guests, delivering excellent customer service, supporting smooth restaurant operations, and ensuring a positive dining experience. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

As Front of House Staff, you will:

  • Welcome and attend to guests in a warm, professional, and friendly manner.
  • Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide menu information and make recommendations when required.
  • Ensure tables, dining areas, and service stations are clean, organized, and well-presented.
  • Deliver food and beverages promptly and in accordance with service standards.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor concerns professionally.
  • Support smooth coordination between the kitchen and service team.
  • Process payments accurately and follow cash handling procedures where applicable.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, grooming, and personal presentation.
  • Assist in setting up and closing down the restaurant as required.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues during peak service periods.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • HND in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in a hospitality, restaurant, or customer service role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good teamwork, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of restaurant service standards and hygiene practices.
