Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Gas Cutter to join our team. The successful candidate will perform accurate gas cutting operations on various metal materials, ensuring precision, quality, and adherence to safety standards.

You will play a key role in preparing and cutting metals to required specifications, supporting fabrication and engineering projects, and maintaining equipment for optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Mark metals accurately according to specifications and measurements
• Perform gas cutting operations on different types and thicknesses of metal
• Select and fix appropriate nozzles based on material thickness and cutting requirements
• Ensure precision and quality in all cutting tasks
• Inspect finished workpieces to confirm compliance with specifications
• Maintain and handle gas cutting equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental guidelines
• Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines

Educational Requirements

• Basic technical education or vocational training in metalwork, welding, or a related field

Experience Required

• Proven experience in gas cutting or a similar role
• Strong understanding of metal marking and cutting techniques
• Ability to work with different metal thicknesses and materials
• Familiarity with gas cutting equipment and maintenance
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and procedures
