Role Overview
We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Group Head of Finance to lead and oversee the financial direction of the organization. You will drive financial strategy, ensure robust governance, and deliver insightful reporting that supports executive decision-making and long-term business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts aligned with the organization’s objectives.
- Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting, including financial statements, management reports, board reports, and regulatory filings.
- Manage the Group’s balance sheet and monitor key financial performance indicators.
- Partner with treasury leadership to optimize cash flow, liquidity, capital structure, and debt management.
- Lead budgeting processes, financial planning, and risk assessments across the Group.
- Monitor financial performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement strategies to enhance profitability and efficiency.
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Provide strategic financial insights to the executive team and Board, including investment analysis and risk evaluation.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, investors, and financial institutions.
- Optimize working capital and oversee banking relationships and financing strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Knowledge & Experience
- Demonstrate a minimum of 15 years of experience in finance within the financial services industry.
- Have at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Possess strong experience in group financial reporting and consolidations.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of financial risk management, governance, and internal controls.
- Exhibit strong understanding of international accounting standards.
- Show proven ability to resolve complex financial and operational challenges.
- Possess solid knowledge of capital and treasury management.

- Apply advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities to complex financial scenarios.

Education & Professional Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Possess a professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or ACA.
- An MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
