Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Commercial to drive our business development, sales, and marketing strategies. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team, shape corporate strategy, and identify opportunities to enhance revenue, brand visibility, and market competitiveness. This role offers the opportunity to influence organizational growth and lead strategic commercial initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in business development, sales, and marketing strategies to inform the overall corporate strategy.
- Lead the development and implementation of policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), work plans, and monitoring mechanisms to achieve business objectives.
- Communicate and monitor the implementation of approved business strategies across all company staff.
- Formulate and execute marketing and sales strategies to improve productivity and revenue.
- Lead the conception of new business ideas into saleable projects and identify potential investors or partners for strategic agreements.
- Advise management and the board in preparing requests for proposals (RFPs) to pursue new growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with estate management and development teams to enhance business operations and service delivery.
- Source, manage, and implement new business initiatives aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify target markets and develop competitive pricing models.
- Stay informed on government policies and social/economic initiatives that could impact business opportunities.
- Represent the company at tradeshows and industry events to explore potential business avenues.
- Promote the company’s brand and services to strengthen market presence and drive new business growth.
- Monitor sales performance across all products and channels, developing corrective strategies to address underperformance.
- Lead marketing campaigns for new products/services and ensure compliance with approved strategies and policies.
- Provide expertise in pricing models to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Direct research to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) and develop mitigation measures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Membership in a recognized professional body.
- Experience in Real Estate Sales and Marketing is an added advantage.
- 12 years of working experience, with at least 5 years in senior management positions.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven track record in driving business growth and managing high-performing teams.
