We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to join us as Head, Professional & Certificate Programmes to drive the growth and impact of our continuing and executive education portfolio.

Position Summary

The Head, Professional & Certificate Programmes will lead the strategic development, delivery, and expansion of professional, executive, and certificate programmes within the University. The role focuses on strengthening industry relevance, driving revenue growth, and advancing innovative learning models, including digital and blended learning.

This position requires a strong leader with deep expertise in programme development, stakeholder engagement, and higher education transformation.

Key Responsibilities

The Head, Professional & Certificate Programmes will:

• Develop and oversee market-driven professional, executive, and certificate programmes aligned with industry and workforce needs.
• Build and maintain strong strategic partnerships with industry, government agencies, professional bodies, and international organizations.
• Drive revenue growth and ensure financial sustainability of professional and continuing education programmes.
• Lead the design and implementation of digital and blended learning innovations to enhance accessibility and learner experience.
• Expand the University’s footprint in continuing education, executive training, and workforce development initiatives.
• Provide strategic leadership in programme quality assurance, relevance, and continuous improvement.
• Champion a culture of innovation, responsiveness, and excellence in professional education delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in higher education, executive training, professional education, or programme leadership.
• Strong experience in programme development, strategic partnerships, and business growth within an academic or training environment.
• Proven ability to develop and manage revenue-generating education programmes.
• Experience in online, digital, or blended learning delivery will be an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
