The Opportunity
Peduase Valley Resort is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and service-driven Housekeeping Attendant to join our hospitality team.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and presentation of guest rooms and public areas. You will ensure that every guest enjoys a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment while supporting the resort’s commitment to hospitality excellence.
Key Responsibilities
As the Housekeeping Attendant, you will:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, suites, corridors, and public areas to the resort’s quality standards.
- Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities.
- Vacuum, dust, mop, sanitise, and disinfect assigned areas.
- Inspect guest rooms to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and readiness before occupancy.
- Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns promptly.
- Handle guest requests professionally and respond promptly to housekeeping needs.
- Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Follow health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of completed housekeeping activities where required.
- Support laundry operations and other housekeeping duties as assigned.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or a related field will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning methods, and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, when required.
