About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and people-focused HR / Onboarding Coordinator to join our Human Resources team in Accra. In this role, you will coordinate and manage the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring that new employees experience a smooth, engaging, and well-structured integration into the organization. You will also support core HR operations and help strengthen employee experience from day one.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the full onboarding process for new hires, from offer acceptance to integration
- Facilitate smooth onboarding experiences by preparing documentation, schedules, and orientation sessions
- Support HR operations including employee records management and documentation compliance
- Communicate with new employees to ensure clarity on policies, procedures, and expectations
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure effective role-specific onboarding
- Track onboarding progress and ensure completion of all required onboarding activities
- Assist in employee engagement initiatives and HR administrative support tasks
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure confidentiality of employee data
- Identify and recommend improvements to enhance the onboarding experience
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Professional certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR or onboarding-related roles
- Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple onboarding processes simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and people management abilities
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Passion for employee experience and organizational development
