About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and people-focused HR / Onboarding Coordinator to join our Human Resources team in Accra. In this role, you will coordinate and manage the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring that new employees experience a smooth, engaging, and well-structured integration into the organization. You will also support core HR operations and help strengthen employee experience from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the full onboarding process for new hires, from offer acceptance to integration
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding experiences by preparing documentation, schedules, and orientation sessions
  • Support HR operations including employee records management and documentation compliance
  • Communicate with new employees to ensure clarity on policies, procedures, and expectations
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure effective role-specific onboarding
  • Track onboarding progress and ensure completion of all required onboarding activities
  • Assist in employee engagement initiatives and HR administrative support tasks
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure confidentiality of employee data
  • Identify and recommend improvements to enhance the onboarding experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
  • Professional certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR or onboarding-related roles
  • Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple onboarding processes simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and people management abilities
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • Passion for employee experience and organizational development
