Job Title: Human Resource Manager (Full-Time)

Location: Spintex

Role Overview

The Human Resource Manager will lead all HR functions with a strong focus on industrial relations, compliance, and people management systems. You will create a structured and fair working environment, strengthen employee relations, and ensure full compliance with Ghana’s labour laws while partnering with leadership to support business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

Industrial Relations & Union Management

  • Lead union negotiations and maintain strong, professional industrial relations
  • Manage employee grievances, disputes, and disciplinary processes
  • Build and sustain productive relationships between management and employees
  • Ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee payroll processes in collaboration with the finance team
  • Manage attendance systems, leave administration, and HR records
  • Ensure full compliance with Ghana Labour Laws and internal policies
  • Develop and implement HR systems, policies, and procedures

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Build HR systems and structures from the ground up where necessary
  • Partner with senior management as a strategic HR business advisor
  • Drive workforce planning, performance management, and organizational development
  • Strengthen HR’s role as a key driver of business success

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
  • 12–15+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Strong background in Manufacturing or FMCG environments
  • Proven experience in union negotiations and industrial relations
  • Hands-on experience in small to medium-sized organizations

  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Deep understanding of Ghana Labour Laws and HR compliance
  • Excellent negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to design and implement HR systems from scratch
  • Strong business acumen with a strategic HR mindset
  • High integrity, professionalism, and emotional intelligence
