Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Banking Analyst to support transaction execution, financial analysis, and client advisory services. The successful candidate will play a key role in evaluating investment opportunities, preparing financial models, and supporting deal processes from origination through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, valuation, and modeling to support investment decisions.
- Prepare pitch books, investment memoranda, and client presentations.
- Support the execution of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, and advisory transactions.
- Perform industry research, market analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
- Assist in due diligence processes and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze financial statements and develop forecasts and projections.
- Maintain financial databases and transaction documentation.
- Collaborate with senior bankers to deliver high-quality client solutions.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A postgraduate degree (MBA, MSc) or professional certification (e.g., CFA, ACCA) is a strong advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or financial advisory.
- Demonstrated experience in financial modeling, valuation, and transaction support.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a high-performance environment.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and ability to work independently and within teams.
- Sound understanding of financial markets, corporate finance principles, and investment strategies.
