Job Summary

DSTRKT24 seeks a proactive and solution-oriented IT Officer to manage and support its IT infrastructure and systems. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems while providing timely technical support to users.

The IT Officer will play a key role in maintaining system reliability, resolving technical issues, and supporting the organization’s digital operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and systems
  • Monitor and support network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide IT support to staff and respond to helpdesk requests
  • Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and backups
  • Ensure data security and integrity across all systems
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, issues, and resolutions
  • Support the implementation of new technologies and system upgrades

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in IT support, systems administration, or network management
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to diagnose technical issues quickly and provide effective solutions

  • Good communication and user support skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic knowledge of network security and data protection practices
