Position Summary

The IT Operations Manager will oversee and optimize the company’s IT systems, infrastructure, and technical support operations to ensure seamless and efficient business processes. The successful candidate will drive operational stability, strengthen cybersecurity practices, and lead a high-performing IT support team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, mentor, and manage IT support and technical staff.

  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize company servers, networks, and systems.

  • Ensure system security, data protection, backups, and disaster recovery processes are effective and up to date.

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.

  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Coordinate system upgrades, installations, patches, and preventive maintenance.

  • Manage IT inventory, assets, and equipment lifecycle.

  • Provide hands-on technical support to staff when required.

  • Prepare and present reports on system performance, uptime, and operational efficiency.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in IT support, IT administration, or a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of networking, hardware systems, and system administration.

  • Proven experience in troubleshooting, system maintenance, and IT operations management.

  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical documentation and IT policies.
