Position Summary

The school is seeking a passionate and qualified JHS Asante Twi Teacher to deliver effective instruction in Ghanaian language studies at the Junior High School level. This role supports language proficiency, cultural appreciation, and strong academic outcomes while fostering an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver lessons aligned with national curriculum standards and support students’ linguistic and cultural development.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Asante Twi lessons in line with the GES curriculum.

• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools.

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Prepare students for internal and external assessments as required.

• Maintain accurate academic records and class documentation.

• Create a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.

• Promote Ghanaian culture, values, and language appreciation.

• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to improve learning outcomes.

• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Degree in Education or a relevant field.

• Strong command of Asante Twi language and cultural knowledge.
