Role Overview

The Key Account Manager drives revenue growth by managing strategic client relationships and securing new business opportunities. The role focuses on delivering tailored cybersecurity solutions to key sectors such as financial services and telecommunications while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, building strong relationships and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Drive new business development by leveraging deep knowledge of the company’s cybersecurity solutions and services.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
  • Engage prospective clients to understand their business needs and collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities within assigned accounts and territories.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for up selling and cross-selling.
  • Collaborate with technical pre-sales teams to prepare compelling bids and proposals.
  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Oversee and ensure the successful delivery of Proof of Concepts (POCs) to clients.
  • Lead contract negotiations and close agreements to maximize profitability.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and technical teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions.
  • Resolve sales-related issues within assigned accounts efficiently and professionally.
  • Develop and implement strategies to retain and grow existing customer accounts.

Requirements (Skills & Experience)

  • Minimum of 3–6 years’ experience in IT or cybersecurity sales.
  • Proven experience in business development and key account management.
  • Prior experience selling IT or cybersecurity solutions to financial institutions is highly desirable.
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of client relationship management and solution selling.
