Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Steward to support our culinary operations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization within the kitchen while ensuring that all equipment, utensils, and work areas meet the highest standards of safety and sanitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, equipment, utensils, and food preparation stations.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, cookware, glassware, and kitchen tools.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Support kitchen staff by ensuring the availability of clean equipment and supplies during service periods.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing kitchen inventory and supplies.
• Remove waste and maintain designated disposal areas in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
• Conduct routine cleaning of kitchen floors, walls, storage areas, and workstations.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Follow all company policies, health regulations, and operational procedures.
• Contribute to a positive, efficient, and team-oriented working environment.

Requirements

• HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in hotel management, hospitality, food service operations, or a similar environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
• Good understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain high standards under pressure.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to supporting kitchen operations.
